Meraki (n.): The soul, creativity, or love put into something; the essence of yourself that is put into your work. This Greek word is often used when talking about cooking and design.
Meet Jeralin, the creator and founder of Meraki Interior Design, LLC. Meraki was born under the umbrella of her parent company, RAW Equity Group, LLC.
Jeralin started her interior design career in 2014, organically and totally unexpected! She has always been a creative and leans towards the arts but never in a million years thought interior design would be her calling. Like any other passion of hers she went full on, head first and submerged herself in the Interior Design world. With time, patience, a lot of work and dedication, she has been able to accomplish amazing things within the industry.
The bulk of Jeralin’s work has been in her Real Estate company where she and her husband, Felipe Soares, fix and flip properties all over the DFW metroplex. Jeralin is the creative designer for the company, all interior design aspects land on her desk. The company has done hundreds of projects now and is still going strong.
A few years ago, Jeralin decided to offer her Interior Design services to external clients knowing she can bring value to a lot of people wanting to refresh their homes and to Real Estate Investors who are looking to fix and flip, whether new or seasoned at this, its always a good idea to collaborate. For Jeralin it’s doing things with integrity and always staying true to her core values. Her Ethos is – genuinity and authenticity. Nothing will give better results than being genuine and honest not just in design but with everything in life.
For Jeralin, HOME is a sanctuary, and her motto is to not rush the design process, she says, “take your time, don’t fill your home with non-meaningful things but wait until you find a piece of furniture or that item that feels like home, that speaks to your soul.” Projects should have craftsmanship and a prototype, baby step with prototype instead of going to spend all the money in designing and then not liking it. Jeralin believes in timeless interiors, interiors that transcend the times.

When not working and designing Jeralin can be found somewhere doing outdoor activities and spending time with her animals or traveling somewhere around the world with her best friend and partner in everything under the sun.
